Sthĕnĕboea or Sthĕnŏboea, ae, f., = Stheneboia, Sthenoboia, daughter of Iobates, king of Lycia, Juv. 10, 327; Hyg. Fab. 57 and 243.—Hence, adj.: Sthĕnĕboeïus, a, um, of or belonging to Sthenebœa:

heros,

i. e. Bellerophon, whom Sthenebœa loved, Sid. Carm. 11, 74.
